TOOL LIBRARY POLICIES 

  1. Only residents of Indianapolis(as constituted by Marion County) who are over the age of 18 are eligible to borrow tools from the SFP Tool Library (SFPTL)
  2.  Tools and equipment are loaned for 1 or 7 days. Failure to return the tools and equipment by the due date will incur late fees and stop the account. After 30 days, unreturned tools and equipment will be considered stolen property, and charges may be filed. 
  3. Tools must be returned to the Soul Food Project staff. Tools cannot be dropped off during closed hours. 
  4. For those unfamiliar with a particular tool, safety training materials such as manuals (if in the possession of the Tool Library) will be made available upon request. However, by taking possession of any item, the member certifies that he or she can use that item safely and adequately.
